Show us the Father was the cry of Philip not fully understanding that Jesus was God making Himself known. John 14:1-11, John 12:20-28, Acts 4:13, and I John 1:3.  All that is said and done must begin, continue, and end with Jesus. Otherwise it is wasted time, energy and resources. #TheVoice  In all things we must resist the urge to depend upon the arm of flesh. It is and will always be limited. Scriptures: II Chronicles 32:1-33, Joshua 10:25, Deuteronomy 31:6, II Kings 6:16, and Philippians 3:3  Let us position ourselves to receive a harvest in the right season. Scriptures: Genesis 8:22, Ezra 7:10, Ecclesiastes 11:4-6, Matthew 5:43-48, and John 12:23-26.  When we truly pray for things to be removed from us, and they don't move, we need to trust God's plan for us and submit to His will. Scriptures: Matthew 26:36-42, Luke 22:42, John 18:1-11, and I Peter 4:1.  BE STILL The people of God must still themselves moving forward in this new season. It is hard to hear God otherwise. Scriptures: Psalm 46:10 and Numbers 13:17-33. 
We all could learn so much from Simeon's commitment and expectation. His vision governed his lifestyle. Scriptures: Luke 2, Acts 1:4, Romans 8:14, Isaiah 42:6, 49:6, and Matthew 21:42-44..  We all can identify with following the leader. If the leader is following the Lord, those following should mimic him or her. I Corinthians 11:1, Galatians 4:13-19, and II Kings 6:8-17.  There are times we just need to take a deep breath and be refreshed. Acts 3:11-26, John 15:5, Luke 1:37, and II Timothy 1:16. |
