Dr. Lewis Fisher, Jr. is the Senior Pastor at Blanchard’s Grove Church located in Hobbsville North Carolina and founder of Lewis Fisher Jr Ministries, based in Suffolk, Virginia.
A native of Morehead City, North Carolina, Dr. Fisher graduated from East Carteret High School located in Beaufort NC. He attended two years at Tidewater Community College. His undergraduate studies were in Management at Bellevue University. He later completed graduate studies with a Master of Ministry Degree and a Doctorate of Theology from the Master’s International Graduate School of Divinity. Since 1985, the year of his ordination into the ministry, Dr. Fisher has had an unquenchable passion for people. God has used him to communicate a powerful message of holiness that emphasizes our worth to God in public is what we are in private. Dr. Fisher is dedicated to the “One” mission of the church; that is, making disciples. It is summed up in the theme he has communicated, “Find Them, Fold Them, Build Them Up.” |

He is the Overseer of Glorified Ministries located in Valdosta, Georgia, and is in covenant relationship outside the United States with leaders/representatives from Israel, Canada: Ottawa, and Toronto, Africa: Rwanda, Burundi, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Republic of the Congo, South Africa, Haiti, and Jamaica. In his goal to minister to the whole person, he has also worked with community leaders and local governments on projects to help build up communities to better serve the people. His desire to help people led to the creation of the Fisher Empowerment Center, which He founded in March 2009. The Fisher Empowerment Center, (FEC) Inc. was founded with its unique “One Stop” approach to providing community outreach services. The FEC is a community partner with East Carolina University and North Carolina Central University Law School. FECs are located in various parts of North Carolina’s eastern region, and Valdosta Georgia.
He is the author of “God’s Pursuit of You,” a treaty serving as a clarion call, beckoning the church to return to its true center. He has empowered many ministries through his "Gathering of the Eagles" workshops, and while serving as a Professor at Roanoke Theological Seminary in Elizabeth City, NC. He is an entrepreneur, with a business emphasis in marketing.
He is married to the former Tonja Yvette Butts of Portsmouth Virginia. They have four children, Arianna, Paul, Sariah, and Deborah. Dr. Fisher and family currently reside in Suffolk, Virginia.
