As the people of God, we are the key to a national repentance and national mercy. II Chronicles 7:14, Exodus 32:1-15, and Genesis 18:17-33.
The principle of Firstfruits is vitally important to our understanding of why we must be separate from the lifestyle we came out of, and what it means to those that will follow us. Exodus 23:14-16, Leviticus 23:9-14, Romans 11:16, John 12:24, and
I Corinthians 15:20-23.
During his earthly ministry, Jesus often challenged his audience to find out who, where, and what was the center of their lives. Today he is doing the same thing by the inward ministry of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 6:19-21, 19:21-22, Ecclesiastes 2:18, Colossians 3:1-4, and I Timothy 6:17-19.
When the Lord reveals himself to us, we need to understand that it is with great purpose. Not understanding the moment will cause us to forget, and we run the risk of falling prey to works of the flesh. Exodus 24:9-11, Ezekiel 1:26, and Leviticus 10:1-2.
Today's topic is a difficult one to hear. Mainly because one often ask themselves, how can a loving God watch people go to a place of such torment? Listen carefully, God will protect our right to go to hell if it is our choice, but He urges us all to choose life in His Son Jesus. Repent today and be saved from the wrath that is to come. Scriptures: Luke 16: 19-31, Galatians 6:10, and Acts 2:38.
The greatest love on display is the love that gives itself away for the life of another. John 15:13, II Corinthians 4:6-12, and Matthew 9:37-38.
