Hebrews 11:11, Hebrews 12:2, Numbers 23:19
Apostle Dr. Lewis Fisher Jr began by saying, as we enter 2020 with a position in our hearts, that we are going to simply believe what God said, and believe He is able to perform what he has spoken. Our vision is not on people and things, but on Him and what He said. People and things will run out, but the word of God, it is forever settled.

When there is a question as to whether God heard our cry, or can He do for us what He said, it is an assault upon His character. We must defend His character by declaring we believe He is faithful. God will fight for us. We must keep our focus on him and what he said. Has He said and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken and shall He not make it good?
Men change their minds, and therefore break their word; they lie, because they repent. But God does neither. He never changes His mind, and therefore never recalls His promise. We must come to a point where we know God is reliable, trustworthy and true to His word.
