Deuteronomy 8:2:
And thou shalt remember all the way which the Lord thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.

Apostle-Elect Dr. Lewis Fisher, Jr addressed the congregation with the title: “The Year of Alignment”. Apostle wanted to speak to our hearts as this is the year of alignment. In 2018, we remember where he brought us but in 2019 walk with a vision in front of us. We must continue to move forward and not look backwards. We must come in alignment with God’s word. If we are out of alignment, we can’t experience God’s benefits. The word will keep us in alignment with God.
