Sunday Service: Touching Resurrection Life
Scriptures: John 3:1-4, 16, 21 - John 7: 50-51 - John 19:39- 42
Apostle Lewis Fisher, Jr began our service with the title “Touching Resurrection Life”. He asked us all to partake of the resurrection life. Nicodemus was a pharisee and well educated. He was greedy, hypocritical, and lacking a sense of justice. He was concerned with fulfilling the literal scripture but blinded to the spiritual significance of the scripture. When he encountered resurrection life, tradition was now in conflict with the words of life he had heard. Nicodemus heard the voice at night. It changed his life forever. God loves every one of us no matter what our background may be. Nicodemus met Jesus at night. He kept coming to understand the revelation that he had heard. Jesus resurrection was never for himself, but it was for us. Because if he can get up, we can get up also. Living for God is living holy through him as he guides our life.
