Title:”My Conclusion” Scriptures: Matthew 25:14-30 || 1 Corinthians 5:1-5
Psalm 23:1-2
Apostle Lewis Fisher Jr continued his sermon from last Sunday talking about “One Talent.” In the review, there was a traveler and he gave his own goods out, described as “Talents.” This is symbolic of what Jesus did before he ascended; he gave each of us at least one. This was a demonstration of the Lord’s grace. Apostle asked the congregation; how many think they got their talents on their own? Apostle wanted to focus on the grace of God instead of the one who didn’t use his talent. Without committing our life to God, we only go so far and then stop and play it safe. We are afraid, once we start getting close to God, we start tasting something fresh and it scares most people. The Lord said that He is the bread that came down from heaven. Most people are holding on to what God gave them and not using it for the Kingdom. When you hold on to what God has given you and not use it, it is evident that you don’t know the Lord. What God expects from us is to be sons and daughters of the most high. The message today is “My Conclusion”.

Apostle wants us to say, My Conclusion is…. You can fill in the blank”. When you live long enough certain things in life become more relevant to you than other things. David said, that all I have been through in this life, my conclusion is that the Lord is my shepherd. Everything that happens now will determine my life in the future. You count the cost and think about what it cost for God to be Lord in your life. There are so many programs going on in the churches today, but we must ask ourselves, who is being saved, healed, and or delivered during these various programs. The sheep will follow the shepherd to the right pasture. Jesus said, my sheep know my voice and no other will they answer. For him to be shepherd of our life, he must be Lord of our life. If I let God lead me, I must follow and listen to His voice. A true walk with God will cost us, but we must submit to Him. God wants us to truly know Him as a shepherd and that He will guide us in the right places.
