Too often, we consider God as a spare tire

It appears at times that what God wants and needs is not of primary concern of the people He has given so much for. I liken our relationship this way; we consider God as a spare tire; only use him when needed. There is no intimacy from this prospective. How would you feel if people only communicated with you when they needed to use you or your resources?

We will find Him ... when we want Him more than anything

How much more does the Father withdraw himself from us, not allowing us to find him because He realizes that He is not important to us? The Lord spoke through Jeremiah the prophet saying:

“And you will seek me and find me, when you search for me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13

Consider this same verse from the Message Bible translation.

“When you come looking for me, you’ll find me. Yes, when you get serious about finding me and want it more than anything else.” Jeremiah 29:13
Wow! Is that powerful? We will find Him when we want it more than anything. That’s the key my brothers and sisters, when we want it more than anything. We MUST return to our true center!

We MUST return to our true center! God the Father is our center, and what He wants and needs must take center stage; only when this is a reality in our individual lives, will we see the manifestation of all that He is.
