It appears at times that what God wants and needs is not of primary concern of the people He has given so much for. I liken our relationship this way; we consider God as a spare tire; only use him when needed. There is no intimacy from this prospective. How would you feel if people only communicated with you when they needed to use you or your resources? An Excerpt from: God’s Pursuit of You - by Dr. Lewis Fisher, Jr.

How much more does the Father withdraw himself from us, not allowing us to find him because He realizes that He is not important to us? “When you come looking for me, you’ll find me. Yes, when you get serious about finding me and want it more than anything else.” Jeremiah 29:13 Wow! Is that powerful?
