Now we see by evidence of the scriptures that light was presently in existence on the first day.
In Christ, Dr. Lewis Fisher, Jr.
“And God said, “Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.” Genesis 1:3-5" Now we see by evidence of the scriptures that light was presently in existence on the first day. How can this thing be? There is no mentioning of the sun or moon to this point. Where did the light come from? I'll tell you where it came from. The light came from the almighty God, who is light!

The word for tradition means custom, ritual, belief, practice, or innovation. It is centered on man’s ability, and that, my beloved, counters God’s ideal for His church. Man-centered ministries paralyze the people, leaving them crippled, and without hope. It disqualifies him from receiving an unlimited provision from God. We must sound the alarm in this hour, in the hope that many will adjust priorities, and shift back to the only ministry God will respond to, a Christ Centered one.
In Christ, Dr. Lewis Fisher, Jr. How can we bring deliverance to a people when we ourselves are in captivity to our own will and way? Jesus was crystal clear about putting the cart before the horse, so to speak. He told us to get the beam out of our own eyes, then, we can see clearly to help others. I call this walking in authority. You see, when you are not bound by anything, you can speak with boldness on whatever the subject is. If you are held captive to a particular thing, then, rest assured, you will not speak with any real authority. That being said, whatever has been lost, can be recovered.
In Christ, Dr. Lewis Fisher, Jr. It is extremely important in a relationship to recognize when you are being pursued. If one is not aware of pursuit, think about the potential loss, the life that could have been, but was not being of the lack of one’s ability to perceive they were being pursued. As I reflect on how God pursued me, it is truly humbling. “I have been crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, yet not I, but Christ liveth in me, and the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20
