God’s Call - Part 2

3/13/2019

Scriptures: Exodus 3:4, Malachi 3:3, Philippians 1:6
Apostle Dr. Lewis Fisher Jr continued his message on “God’s Call.”  He began by echoing the song “It’s Your Season”.  God has begun a release now.  It’s not coming, it is already here.  We need to ask God to let it manifest.  God said, I will give seed to the sower.  This is our season.

Apostle asked, “How long has God been dealing with us to get us to turn aside to see what he is doing?” It took 40 years for God to get Moses to turn aside to see what he was doing.  During our trials, we need a word from the Lord to help us and guide us through them.  We come to the point that we only need God. It is at this point we truly begin to seek him.  Here is where we will begin to turn aside to see.  God gives us joy, and rest.  We will always have trials, but God gives us peace and rest as we go through.  This is our season, this is our day.  We have a fresh anointing that has come our way.  God wants to do a work in the body.  If the head is in a season, then the body is also in that season

Apostle shared he has turned to God and he is now in his season. It took him 34 years of trials and going through God’s qualifying process to reach his  season.  How many of us are ready to turn to our season?  This is the season of anointing, power and prosperity.  God does not call the qualified, he qualifies the called.  We will all go through God’s qualifying process.  Moses’ season did not come until he saw the burning bush.  Here, he responded to the call of God.  He that has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.  Remember, “God loves us too much to leave us the way that we are.”  Are you ready to walk into your season?

God's Call

Apostle Lewis Fisher Jr began by reminding us about Moses.  God said I am going to deliver my people by forgiving them.  The old testament pattern was no man could come into God’s presence without things being right.  We are speaking about the holy of holies.  Today the Mercy Seat continues and that Mercy Seat is Jesus.  God deals with us from the premise of mercy.  We are important to the plan and purpose of God.  No one can make a decision for us to walk with God.  We need to prepare ourselves because we don’t know the day or hour.  We thank the Lord for forgiving us.  Deliverance is through forgiving.
God’s Call
Moses was a man that had everything in his life.  Here in this message, Moses was doing a job that he was taught to hate.  God is going to do something in our lives to drive us to the very thing you hate.  Moses, as an Egyptian prince was taught to detest shepherds. God led Moses through the wilderness of Sinai.  We can”’ serve God with a silver spoon attitude. He will leave us in the wilderness longer than we should be.  He took Moses out of the plush life and said now I want him.  God had Moses to become a shepherd to learn about the very people he had to lead.  Moses was 80 years old and still working.  Moses was taken from the light of prosperity where everyone knew him to a job in obscurity.  There was no fame in this job.  God was humbling Moses.  If it took 40 years for God to humble Moses, how long do you think it will take us to become humble.  Wherever the spirit of the Lord is it is holy.  Your house is not holy because you put a cross in it or any other symbol.  It is holy because the spirit of the Lord takes his residence  there.  On holy ground you have to conduct yourself different because the Lord is holy.   Apostle asked, “How many of you want God to reside in your house?”

He Pulls Us Back

Apostle Lewis Fisher, Jr. began the service by asking who had not received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and experienced God on this level. There were many who had not received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, nor experienced God in this way, and bore the evidence of speaking in tongues.  The Apostle called those that had not yet received, and laid hands on them, that they receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. This was a powerful move of God.  Sunday was a totally intimate time with our Lord and Savior.  It was a direct conversation between us and God. It shows our lives to be a true reflection of God, from the inside out.

After an intimate time with the Lord, Apostle Lewis Fisher, Jr asked Minister Pamela Harvey to share a word from the Lord.  Minister Harvey shared “He Pulls Us Back”.  This was a personal testimony on how God pulled her back.  It was uplifting and inspirational to all.
