That being said, too many messages we hear over the Radio, Television, Internet, and in many books, seem to allude to the audacious fact that perhaps humanity took the first step in the relationship with Christ we now enjoy. Jesus is vividly clear, that the Father took the first step; a point I will emphasize throughout this writing.

As God is self-existent, He decided He would favor humanity.

My dear friends, the plan of redemption has always been about God; we are simply beneficiaries of His grace. As God is self-existent, He decided He would favor humanity. Why? He did so because He could. He decided to pursue us, how dare we now act as if He is subservient in the relationship.
