Consider the following:
“And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. Luke 13:11
A Spirit of infirmity for eighteen years!

How long have you suffered so needlessly? As she could not help herself, neither can you do it alone. She not only suffered physically, think about the emotional bombardment waged against her. Even though she was in the midst of people, she probably felt like an outcast. Have you ever been there? Surrounded by people, yet inwardly, because of your infirmity, you feel like an outcast. Does not this very scene depict a person with no hope?
Does it paint your picture? Good news my friend! A new day has dawn. There is a solution, and His name is Jesus!
