Sunday Service:  November 24, 2019

Scriptures: Numbers Luke 17: 11-19Apostle Dr. Lewis Fisher Jr began with the title “Thankfulness”.  We must always believe and speak what God says. He said that he disapproves of any ailments in us so much that he sent his Son Jesus to the cross to bear it.  God said, wherever he dwells there will be no illness. God dwells within us. We can go on the word of God that he takes no pleasure with any of us dealing with sickness and dead stuff.  Apostle talked about the ten lepers that Jesus met. On this day they saw Jesus. They shouted from approximately 300 ft away. The principle came in Numbers. The ten lepers lifted up their voices and shouted, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us”.

If we call Jesus he will hear us. He is never too far away. We must shout to the top of our voice, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. The ten lepers didn’t tell Jesus what was wrong. They just call the name of the Lord even in their darkest hour.  They had to look at Jesus from afar off. They had no pride. Jesus sees them and said, Go show yourself to the Priest. They shouted Jesus for a need and he called right back. Jesus no longer saw them as a leper but as a clean person. Everything that they needed fell on them.  Jesus knew that before they got to the Priest that all the dead skin was revived. As they were going, the word began to change things. As we go in obedience lives are changing, problems are dissipating as we are obedient to God's word. One leper understood what they cried out for, Jesus had delivered.  He recognized what God had done and fell down and glorified him. Healing is a great thing but being made whole is greater. If we are being made whole there is nothing lacking in the spirit and in the natural.
