Scriptures: John 14:18, Ruth 1:16, Romans 8:15
Apostle Dr. Lewis Fisher Jr continued his word from Wednesday night School of Ministry. Jesus knew he didn’t have days left but hours to be with his disciples. He wanted to love on them before his departure. Jesus told his disciples, I am getting ready to leave you, but I will not leave you comfortless, or as orphans (fatherless).

Praise the Lord! We have received the Spirit of adoption, and are legally sons (male/female) of God. We have the same rights as those that were born into his house. We have identity now because we have a Father. God’s desire has always been that we identify with his family. God wants us to be proud to say that we are a son of God. We don’t need to earn his favor, it was given on the cross at Calvary. God is a loving father who is willing to supply all his children's needs. Learn to approach God as father; he is waiting on you.
